Contributions to the QLJ are welcomed from the whole of the Queensland legal community – from the judiciary, practitioners, legal academics, and post-graduate students. The QLJ is particularly concerned to publish articles which record important lectures to the profession, articles from the judiciary, and joint articles prepared by early-career lawyers and their mentors.

In the first issue of the QLJ, we were delighted to receive contributions from former Justice of High Court the Hon Patrick Keane AC KC, Justice John Bond JA of the Queensland Court of Appeal, his Honour Judge Porter KC of the Queensland District Court, and a joint article by early-career lawyers Catherine Bugler and Michael Boyce.
